Somewhere over the rainbow, Pheasant fly, there’s a place that Fin longed for, a place that he can woo-woo and fly.

Findlay loved his Pheasants and every time he held one in his mouth a woo-woo sound was heard, he would wag his tail and show his bird to anyone that was watching.  He was a ham and a show champion, so he loved the attention.

He is gone now and forever in our memories, flying over the rainbow on October 17, 2008 to be with his friends, human and four legged.  He was an incredible dog, full of life, fun, always happy, wagging his tail and he loved the crowds.  He taught me so many things about life, more patience, being humble, and slowing down enough to enjoy the ride.

Findlay was the most versatile performance and show dog ever in my 1DRDOGS family.  From 5 tennis balls in his mouth at flyball tournaments, drafting and pulling a cart, to an awesome tracking dog.  Findlay did anything I asked of him and always with a happy woo-woo.  He had an amazing last year for being so sick with cancer, he passed his tracking dog test twice, obtained his master scent hurdle title and his rally novice title.  Findlay was first and always a member of my family, a friend, a companioning that watched over me while my husband traveled.  He will be missed and was loved by so many people.  Our memories of him will always bring a smile to our faces.  My sweet boy, may you rest over the rainbow with your bird as your pillow.  Till we meet again you will forever be in our hearts, Kathy, David, Whattson and Edge
